I am originally from Richmond, Virginia. I have always enjoyed math and science. I attended the Math and Science Specialty Center in high school.
I began my undergraduate education preparing myself for medical school, but eventually my interests led me to declare my major in mathematics. Soon after, I knew I wanted to pursue mathematics professionally.
I enjoy playing basketball, watching sports (Redskins and Duke basketball), cooking, eating, and traveling!
